ADEL (b. 1983). Lives and works in Moscow.
Since 2025, Adel has been developing her practice in contemporary art (Maria Hiltunen program). In her current projects, the artist explores existential meanings, reinterpreting Neo-Pop in a modern context and evolving her original mythology of "marshmallow heroes" within the ADEL SPACE ecosystem. Her early period (since 2017) was dedicated to painting series focusing on sports and the limits of human potential.
The artist was awarded the Gold Medal of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSKHR) for her contribution to national culture (2018). She has participated in international group exhibitions in Russia and Armenia, including Art Russia Fair (2020–2021), Arvest Expo’17 (Yerevan, 2017), and projects at the Sochi Art Museum (2020). Solo exhibitions were held at the "Delay Kulturu" art space (Khlebozavod, 2018) and the Russian Auction House (2023).
In 2018, Adel won first place in the BMW Motorrad "Evolution of Travel" art marathon, and in 2025, she collaborated with the Moscow Polo Club. Her works are held in the collections of the Museum of the Special Purpose Garage of the FSO of Russia, the Evgeny Shamansky Technical Museum, and the Nick Panuli Auto Museum (Sochi), as well as in private collections in the USA, Mexico, Finland, and Russia.
